Democrat Staffer Who Made Gay Sex Tape In Senate Hearing Room Fired, Blamed Backlash on Homophobia

A staffer for Democrat Senator Ben Cardin has reportedly been fired after being caught filming a graphic gay sex tape in a Senate hearing room. Aidan Maese-Czeropski attempted to blame the backlash on homophobia prior to his termination.

The disturbing footage, shot in the Hart Senate Office Building, first began circulating earlier this week after reportedly being posted to Maese-Czeropski’s private Instagram story.

“In this very room: Sonia Sotomayor had her confirmation hearing; James Comey testified on Russian interference in the 2016 elections; Aidan got some thick German sausage and a jäger sauce finish,” a screenshot purporting to be from Maese-Czeropski’s Instagram read.

While the identity of the staffer in the video was initially unknown, Laura Loomer quickly verified the video’s origins and revealed a staffer for Cardin as being the subject of the video.

Today, Loomer updated her followers on the situation, claiming that she had been informed that the hearing room where Maese-Czeropski shot the sex tape had been “reserved in Ben Cardin’s name” at the time it would have been made.

The staffer, who has worked for the Maryland Democrat for a number of years, was also featured in a Joe Biden 2020 campaign advertisement. As more information about Maese-Czeropski began to circulate yesterday, it was also alleged that he had been the staffer who shouted “Free Palestine” at Representative Max Miller earlier this week.

Yesterday, Maese-Czeropski posted a short statement to LinkedIn placing the blame for the backlash against him on homophobia.

“This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,” he said in the LinkedIn post.

“While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my work place. Any attempts to characterise my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.”

While Maese-Czeropski did not explicitly deny having shot the sex tape in the Hart Building, he did deny the allegations regarding his interaction with Rep. Miller.

“As for the accusations regarding Congressman Max Miller, I have never seen the congressman and had no opportunity or cause to yell or confront him,” he said.

Maese-Czeropski’s removal from Cardin’s staff was announced today in a short statement from his office, which asserted that they would have “no further comment” on this “personal” matter.
