A gay politician in Germany has sparked outrage after sharing disturbing videos of him performing sexual acts online. In one clip, Martin Neumaier, a Free Democratic Party (FDP) candidate for the district of Ostalb, is seen singing the Nazi-era German national anthem while “masturbating himself rectally with a dildo.”
According to Der Status, several of his pornographic videos were removed from X (formerly Twitter) for violating the site’s Terms of Service, but censored clips continue to be shared across the internet.
In one video, Neumaier is seen naked while reciting the first verse of Nazi-era German national anthem and using an anal dildo. In another, Neumaier inserts a feces-covered dildo into his rectum before smearing it on a Quran.
The politician and personal trainer is also seen expressing his wishes to “rape to death” one of the 12 wives of the Prophet Mohammed, which may warrant criminal charges for inciting hatred and religious defamation under Germany’s criminal code.
“Whoever publicly or by dissemination of writings defames, in a manner suitable to disturb the public peace, the substance of the religious or world view conviction of others, shall be fined or imprisoned for up to three years,” reads section 11, paragraph three of the law.
Other now-deleted videos of the disturbed politician show him with feces under his nose, roleplaying as the former chancellor of the German Reich, Adolf Hitler. “I have a Hitler beard made of shit,” exclaims Neumaier, revealing his home address to his viewers.
Another video filmed in a public restroom shows the fitness coach licking a urinal and a toilet seat. Seemingly unfazed, Neumaier takes his fetishistic behavior to the next level by kissing a toilet brush “as punishment.”
The clips sparked immense backlash on X from many who are disgusted that a political candidate would conduct himself in this manner.
“I just can’t take this shit anymore…” wrote one displeased user in German.
“I never want to see anything by Martin Neumaier again, please. I’m not made to watch people lick train station toilets. I almost vomited,” wrote another user by the handle @viceyrella.
Neumaier’s sexual exhibitionism appears to date back many years. As early as 2015, he had submitted photos of himself to an X account dedicated to gay sexual humiliation, with the political holding a sign reading “I am a f*g.” The photos are still available on the account.
Despite the disturbing nature of the videos, the electoral candidate has reportedly expressed his belief that all viewers of his clips “have the right to send this image material, to publish it wherever they see fit,” and that he films them “voluntarily and with pleasure.”
While it is currently unclear if Neumaier will face professional repercussions for the videos, Chris-Robert Berendt, the district chairman of the FDP party in Ostalb, recently praised the party’s local candidates for embodying “the diversity and strength of [the] district.”
The FDP is considered a socially liberal but fiscally conservative party, and currently has 91 sears in Germany’s Parliament. As reported by Reduxx, the FDP was a key player in helping pass a far-reaching gender self-identification bill in the country.
The controversial law, which went into effect last month, classifies “deadnaming” as an offense potentially punishable by a fine of up to €10,000 ($10,800). It also enables minors over the age of 14 to medically transition, and parents to change the legal sex of their baby starting from birth.
Neumaier is not the first gay European politician to come under recent fire for publishing graphic videos involving feces. As previously reported by The Publica, a politician in Spain was forced to resign from his post last month after videos began to circulate showing him eating his own excrement.
